The "Rigidity and Resilience" 2026 Wei Kejian Fine Art Solo Exhibition is currently on view at the Louvre Exhibition and Collection Hall in Foshan. Featuring over eighty works created by the artist in recent years, this exhibition spans multiple series and themes, systematically presenting the complete scope of his recent artistic creation.
The exhibition runs until May 25, 2026, and admission is free for the public. All are cordially welcome to visit.
魏克健的艺术，在理性秩序与感性表达之间开辟出独特的创作路径。他摒弃对两极元素的简单调和，将对立力量置于同一画面空间，使其相互碰撞、彼此定义，构建出极具哲学意味的视觉共生形态。
Wei Kejian's art carves out a unique creative path between rational order and emotional expression. Rejecting any simplistic reconciliation of opposing elements, he brings conflicting forces into the same pictorial space, allowing them to collide with and define one another, thus constructing a visually symbiotic form imbued with profound philosophical meaning.

魏克健将秩序化作承载情感的容器，在冷静的构图规则之下，放任笔触与肌理自由生长，在控制与失控的临界点上，创造出必然之中的偶然之美。锐利边界与氤氲痕迹、冷静构图与热烈色彩相互碰撞，使画面兼具建筑般的精准与生命般的温度。
Wei Kejian turns order into a vessel that carries emotion. Beneath the composure of compositional rules, he allows brushstrokes and textures to grow freely—at the tipping point between control and loss of control, he creates the beauty of contingency within necessity. Sharp boundaries meet hazy traces; composed compositions meet passionate colors. These collisions give his paintings both the precision of architecture and the warmth of life.

他的创作不再局限于描绘具体物象，而是转向对重叠、秩序、轨迹等内在关系的表达，让理性本身成为被感性观照的对象。唯有理性足够坚定、感性足够敏锐，矛盾才能在画面中充分绽放张力，突破非此即彼的认知局限，抵达更开阔的审美境界。
His work is no longer confined to depicting concrete objects, but has shifted toward expressing intrinsic relationships such as layering, order, and trajectory—allowing rationality itself to become the object of perceptual contemplation. Only when rationality is sufficiently unwavering and perception sufficiently acute can contradictions fully unleash their tension on the canvas, breaking through the either-or limitations of understanding and arriving at a broader aesthetic realm.

Wei Kejian
1957年生于北京，职业艺术家，曾多次举办个人展览，作品被中国美术馆及私人藏家收藏。
Born in Beijing in 1957, Wei Kejian is a professional artist who has held numerous solo exhibitions. His works are housed in the collections of the National Art Museum of China as well as private collectors.
